Facebook published its guidelines for advertisements on its platform related to Covid-19 vaccines on Friday.
The social network announced in its ongoing newsroom post that it is allowing ads highlighting a vaccine's ability to prevent someone from contracting Covid-19, as well as ads promoting opportunities for safe vaccination.
Content that tries to exploit the pandemic for commercial purposes will continue to be banned, and ads or organic posts promoting vaccine sales, such as: B. Attempts to sell Covid-19 vaccine kits or to offer expedited access to the vaccine will be rejected.
Ads claiming vaccines are a cure for the virus are also rejected.
Facebook wrote, "It will take time to train our systems and teams on these guidelines and we expect enforcement to increase in the weeks and months to come."
