LinkedIn: The right way to cease LinkedIn from exhibiting you advertisements based mostly in your interactions with firms

While you are using LinkedIn, the professional network tries to show you ads that are relevant to you based on a number of factors including your location and employment history. LinkedIn may also show you ads based on your interactions with companies (for example, if you've previously signed up for a company’s email newsletter). If you don't want LinkedIn to show you ads based on these interactions with companies, you can disable this setting as follows.

Note: These screenshots were taken in the LinkedIn application on iOS. Also note that ads will be displayed on LinkedIn even if you disable this setting. They just aren't tailored for you this way.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap on "Settings".

Step 3: Tap "Advertising Data".

Step 4: In the Third Party Data section, tap Company Interactions.

Step 5: Tap the switch to the right of Yes to stop LinkedIn from showing you ads based on your interactions with businesses.
