Pinterest confirmed that it had tested Class Communities, a feature that allows pinners to sign up for Zoom classes while the organizers of those classes use boards on the platform to showcase materials and resources, or to communicate through group chat.

A Pinterest spokesperson said, "We're experimenting with ways to allow developers to interact more closely with their audiences." The test would help determine if class communities are being introduced.

Developer and blogger Jane Manchun Wong shared a screenshot of Class Communities in a tweet on Tuesday.
